James "Jim" Earles

James “Jim” Earles, 79, passed away in Klamath Falls, Ore. on October 29, 2021. Jim was born May 1, 1942 in Oklahoma to Leslie and Anna Earles. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964. Jim was a member of the Klamath Falls Masonic Lodge #77, Order of the Eastern Star, Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Klamath Basin Senior Center. He was also active with the Shriners Hospital for Children. Survivors include his wife, Lynn Earles, daughters, Gretchen King and Lanita Johnstone, son, Jason Earles, brother, Johnny Earles and sister, Linda McCabe. Jim is also survived by ten grandchildren, one great grandson and many special nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Jack and Jerry Earles. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 at the Scottish Rite Temple, 620 Walnut Ave., Klamath Falls, OR 97601. Inurnment will be in 2022 at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, Calif.. Condolences may be expressed online at www.cascadecremations.com. Cascade Cremation & Burial is assisting the family.
