Peggy Loftin

Peggy Loftin 71, Passed away October 14th, 2022, in Klamath Falls Oregon. She was born Nov. 9th, 1950, in Hollister, California. Peggy Lived throughout Oregon and Alaska, she lived the last 35 years in the Klamath Basin. Alaska held a special place in Peggy’s heart, but Oregon was ultimately where she wanted to raise and grow her family. She chose Klamath falls to raise her children and was a jack of all trades to make sure as a single mother to provide for her daughter that she calls her ultimate blessing. Although terrified of the water Peggy loved the beach and watching the pelicans. She was also a country girl at heart her love of cows and the smell of a farm would bring her back to when she was younger. Ultimately nothing brought her more joy and happiness than being a grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Not only was she amazing but she was a dedicated mother, grandmother and friend.

She worked for Marquis Care in the Klamath basin as a dietary manager for 29 years before retiring. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie (Jake) Scott of Klamath falls Or, Angie Loftin of Eagle Creek Or. , and Theresa Loftin of Klamath Falls Or. Sons; Melvin Persifull of Sparks Ok, Roy (Eddie) Loftin of Klamath Falls Or; Granddaughters, Kendall Scott, Mikaela Loftin-Cooper, Jorden Lofting-Brewer, LilliMae Scott, Sarah Hutchcraft, Brittney Kassahn, Kelsey, Jordan, Ashley, Marquis, Tea’; Grandsons, David Estrada, Jesse Estrada, along with many other great grandchildren and many that Peggy called close family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Burgess. Peggys love, laughter and kindness will be missed greatly. A celebration of life will be planned on November 5th 2022, at 6200 Church Hill Drive, Klamath Falls, Oregon at 2pm.
