Alfred Chester Derosier “Big Al” to many and Dad to many others. Our father left this world and ascended to the heavens; he was reunited with his mother Claire and brother Michael on March 2, 2024 at 5:30 in the evening from multiple health complications. He will be dearly missed and will leave an empty space in the hearts of his family, friends and everyone who was dear to him. Dad always enjoyed being outside camping, fishing or snowmobiling or tinkering in his woodshop building all sorts of beautiful things. He would always be looking for the next priceless artifact at any yard sale he could find, usually random knick-knacks, but he loved to haggle so yard sales suited him. He spent most of his life in sales, one of the few people who could say he actually used to sell door to door. He prided himself on being able to sell anything to anyone. He was a kind, loving person who could connect with people usually with a firm handshake and a welcoming smile along with a joke or two. I think that's why people were drawn to him. He leaves behind his wife Carol, eldest son Alfred, daughter Vannessa and her husband Zack, and his youngest son Joshua and his wife Stephanie, his father Alfred, his older brother Kurth, his wife Denise, his younger sister Donna, and his five grandchildren whom he loved so much, and many others who loved and cared deeply for him.
