Antonio Salazare Jr., lovingly known as Tony, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026 at the age of 65. Born on February 25, 1961, Tony spent his life in Tulelake, California, surrounded by the people he loved most-his family.

Tony fought a long and courageous battle with cancer beginning in 2019. Through every hardship, he held on with incredible strength and determination for his children and grandchildren. He never wanted to give up, but after years of fighting, his body grew tired, and he peacefully told his family he was ready to rest.

Tony found joy in life's simple moments. No matter the weather, you could always find him outside washing his car or mowing the lawn, taking pride in keeping everything just right. He was hardworking, strong and deeply devoted to his family.

The greatest joy in Tony's life was being a grandfather. His grandbabies meant everything to him. His "Big Guy" Xavier was his favorite TV Buddy, Gio-lovingly called "Bolita"- kept him on his toes and made sure they always ate good, and Damien, known as "Lemon" was his biggest sports fan. The love he shared with them was unconditional and unforgettable.

Tony will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. His strength, love, humor and dedications to family will continue to love on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
