Bessie "Virginia" White, 89, passed away on September 25, 2026, in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

A Colorado native, Virginia attended Western State University, where she earned a degree in business administration. That is also where she met the love of her life, Kenneth, and together they began a lifelong adventure. After living in several places, they settled in Klamath Falls and made it their permanent home. There they raised their children, David and Gretchen, and welcomed grandchildren, Melissa, Ellie, and Isaac, and a great-granddaughter, Rainier, into their family.

Virginia and Kenneth enjoyed traveling the world and sailboat racing at the Klamath Yacht Club and all over the Pacific Northwest, at one time, winning the Pacific Coast Championship in the lightning class.

Virginia applied her degree by teaching at local schools, including Oregon Tech teaching business machines. She loved spending time with family, painting, arts and crafts, sewing, arranging flowers, and entertaining.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Spence Kirk; her sister, Leona Bridgewater; and her brother, Howard Kirk. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 69 years, Kenneth White; her sister, Shirley Hansen; her children; and her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

She was well loved and will be exceptionally missed.

A celebration of Virginia's life will be held at a later date.
