Betty L. Jones, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in Ft Worth, TX.

Betty was born on December 24, 1943, in Lucas County, Iowa, to Ralph and Frances Howard.

Betty graduated from Hood River High School in 1961. She married Albert E. Jones on June 12, 1965 in Hood River, OR. She had numerous jobs throughout her life including Barkley's Drug Store in Hood River, OR, and Sky Lakes Hospital in Klamath Falls, OR. After earning a Cosmetology degree and working at several hair salons in Klamath Falls, OR. Betty opened her own salon, Betty's Beauty Boutique, which was located in Dairy, OR. Betty continued to work at her own salon until her retirement.

Betty enjoyed traveling, planting flowers, creating artwork, dancing, shopping, and spending time with all of her pets. She took pride in being a mom and spending time with her children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. She liked playing games, especially Mexican train and watching movies. Hallmark movies were some of her favorites and watching them with Al became a special nightly routine. Betty attended Bible Baptist Church where she enjoyed Bible study and fellowship. Her faith was an important part of her life.

Betty is survived by two sons Jerry (Liz) of Redmond, OR, and Dennis (Tammy) of Kindred, ND, and daughter Brenda (David) Cobb of Cresson, TX. She also has 3 grandchildren Russell (Elizabeth) Jones, Linsey (Dakota) Johnson, and Lauren (Arta) Cobb-Kashani and 4 great grandchildren, William, Oliver, and Harrison Jones, and Logan Johnson. She is also survived by her siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Frances Howard and her husband Albert E. Jones.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 at Bible Baptist Church, 4849 S. 6th St., Klamath Falls, Oregon. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Mount Laki Cemetery, 4775 Cross Rd. Klamath Falls, Oregon.
