Catherine Green

It is with great sadness we announce the passing Catherine Marie Green. She passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 74. Catherine was born on February 18, 1951 in Coos Bay, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her father; George Willima Whiting, and mother; Sylvia Fay Whiting.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Calvin Green, they were married on August 5, 1989. She is also survived by 7 sisters and 1 brother, sons; Shawn (Patty) Huwa, Doug Huwa, Calvin Green Jr., daughters; Christine Green and Cary Stewart, several grandchildren and greatgrand children, and many other family and friends.

Catherine was a very dedicated and hard working employee for Shilo Inn as a head housekeeper for 20 years. She was an amazing mother and Grandmother. She was also an amazing cook. Catherine enjoyed the outdoors with family and friends. Camping, fishing, hunting and picking berries.

Catherine was a very loving and caring person, a blessing to family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on September 20, 2025, 2:00 pm, at Shilo Inn 1st floor conference room. We invite you to share with us your memories of Catherine.
