Danette Brown

Danette Brown, 62, passed away at her home in Beatty surrounded by family on September 24, 2024.

She was born April 18, 1962 in Klamath Falls to Wendell and Wanda (Swain) Brown. She grew up in Klamath Falls, attending Klamath Union High School. She worked as a receptionist for the Organization of the Forgotten American. Danette moved to Reno, Nev. with her son, Byron, where she lived until returning to Klamath. She enjoyed playing sports and spending time with family - especially in the outdoors.

Survivors include her sons, Byron Campagna of Beatty, Kmauni Campagna, daughter, Kareen Campagna, all of Beatty; sisters, Gwendolyn Brown of Reno, Wanita Brown of Beatty, brother, Steve (Aislyn) Brown of Klamath Falls; niece, Leah Brown; best friend, Woody Joe, Jr.. Danette was preceded in death by her brothers, Waylon, Wendell, Jr., and Aaron Brown, and a sister, Rhoda Brown.

A memorial will be held in Beatty - a date, time and location will be announced.

Interment will follow at Brown Cemetery in Beatty.
