Delores I. Gilcrist, 89, passed away in Klamath Falls, Ore. on May 21, 2021. Delores was born June 6, 1931 in Minnesota to John and Florence Robatcek. She moved to Klamath falls with her family and graduated from Klamath Union high school class of 49. After high school, Delores attended Good Samaritan nurses training and obtained her RN nursing degree. She then returned home to Klamath falls to pursue a nursing career locally. Delores married her high school sweetheart, Richard Gilcrist May 16, 1953. Together they raised two children, and spent many wonderful years in the Klamath basin enjoying hunting, snowmobiles, and varied outdoor recreation. She was a charter member of the local Elkettes chapter, as well as a proud Gopher girl which was a small social club made up of her close high school girlfriends. She is survived by her son & daughter, as well as five grandchildern and many great grandchildren. Dee was a wonderful sole and loved by many, she was blessed with a long and full life. While pages could be written to extol her attributes, instead let it be said that those who knew her were ultimately blessed with special memories, from a one of a kind lady, whose kindness and love will be remembered well into the future. For all those who would like to pay their respects. A viewing will be from 4pm to 8pm on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Cascade Cremation & Burial, 1229 E.
