In Loving Memory of Denise Woodland

1964 - 2025

Denise Woodland, age 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 16th, 2025. Born in Los Angeles, California, Denise made her home and built her life in Klamath Falls, Oregon, where she touched countless lives with her warmth, humor, and strength.

Denise was a mother of three children-Desiree, Derek, and Deandra and her pup Sandy-and a proud and devoted grandmother to Jaden, Hayden, Khai- Lynn, and Maci. She also leaves behind her cherished grand pup, Trinity, her sisters- Debbie, Dana and brother Steve and several nieces and nephews.

She lit up with joy any time she was surrounded by those she loved.

For 24 years, Denise served as the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express in Klamath Falls, where she was known for her leadership, dedication, and the care she showed both her team and guests. Outside of work, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life-fishing, camping, caring for her chickens, cheering on her beloved Dallas Cowboys, and blasting her favorite music while dancing and joking around. Her smile truly could light up any room. The love she had for fishing was unmatched, she would've stayed out on the boat all day and night if she could.

Denise was a woman of incredible strength and perseverance-a loving mother, a doting grandmother, and a fierce friend. Her presence brought laughter and light to all who knew her. While her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of many, there is peace in knowing she is no longer in pain and has been reunited with her mama Billie Jean and brother Marlon.

She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all.

A celebration of Denise's life will be held at a later date.
