Dorris Kerby

Dorris Gene Kerby went to the arms of Jesus on March 1, 2026. Dorris was born on October 28, 1937 in Ashland, Oregon to Byram and Donna Ashcraft. Dorris grew up on the Greensprings living in Lincoln, and graduated from Ashland High School.

Dorris married Douglas Kerby in 1956. They had two daughters and she enjoyed being a mother. Dorris spent her career working for Siskiyou county and retired in 1995.

Later in life she became an ordained pastor and a missionary. Her love of Jesus was evident in her life. You could always find her Singing, praising or praying.

Dorris is survived by her brother Raymond Ashcraft. Her children Julie and Bucky Reed, Cynthia Leigh, and Paul Kerby. Grandchildren Penny, Andrew, Ryan, and Scott, and numerous Great Grandchildren. Dorris leaves behind many special friends as she led her life making a difference to so many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings (Kathy, Robert, Ken, and Howard), Daughter and son-in-law (Shelley and Patrick Tschida)

A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2201 N Phoenix Rd, Medford, OR on Friday March 13, 2026 at 11:00 am, followed by a lunch reception at Family Life Church 1870 W Stewart Ave Medford, OR.

Dorris will be dearly missed by many.
