Eugene "Gene" Pavitt Newnham

Eugene "Gene" P. Newnham Aug. 31, 1944 - Sept. 23, 2020 Eugene "Gene" P. Newnham, 76, passed away at his home in Klamath Falls on September 23, 2020. Gene was born August 31, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio to Pavitt and Marjorie (Hubble) Newnham. He moved to Klamath Falls at a young age and was one of the first employees of the Jeld-Wen Corporation under Dick Wendt. Gene worked there for more than 40 years. Gene married Doris at the Klamath County Museum on October 22, 2003. He enjoyed rock hunting, espeically thundereggs, camping and bow hunting. Survivors include his wife, Doris of Klamath Falls; her children Crystal and Tom and grandson; daughter, Sherry Newnham of Klamath Falls; her daughter, Amanda and Amanda's four sons; brother, Robert Newnham of Klamath Falls, nephew Chuck and several other nieces and nephews, and uncle Dale Newnham of Merrill, Ore. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth. Memorial to follow at a later date.
