Fordus James "Jim" Fraley passed away peacefully in his home on March 7, 2026 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Jim was born on August 7th, 1943 in Mizpah, Minnesota to Jennings and Sadie (Larsen) Fraley. Jim was the ninth of ten children and loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, which carried through his adult life.
Jim enlisted in the Army, and while stationed in Germany he met Roswitha Möller, whom he married and had three daughters. They were divorced after 13 years of marriage.
Jim was a hard worker and spent many years at Floyd A. Boyd Tractor Company in Merrill, Oregon before retiring. Being an avid outdoorsman, he looked forward to yearly hunting trips with friends and family. He also worked for many years on his land on Bly Mountain, building a homestead that he could be proud of.
Jim was remarried to a lovely lady named Jimmie. They spent many good years on the mountain, and Jim even became deacon of his church in Bly. Jimmie also has three children.
Jim is survived by his wife Jimmie, his daughters and sons-in-law, Elona and James Kirk, Stephanie and Ronnie Hogue, Jennifer and William Blansett, and stepchildren, Ryan and Lilliana DuBois, Maureen and Scott, Brent and Kali DuBois.and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jim was the last surviving member of his family and was also proceeded in death by two grandchildren, Jamie Licon Colmenero, and great grandchild, Primrose Alexandria Fraley.
There will be a service held in Jim's honor on March 21, 2026 at 1:00 at Malin Cemetery.
