Gordon Hugo Lund Jr., 69, of Klamath Falls, unexpectedly went home to his Lord and savior on December 10, 2022, with his daughters by his side. He was born to Gordon Hugo Lund Sr. and Audrey Mildred Lund (Hubbard) on Sept. 30, 1953, in Klamath Falls.
Survivors include his daughters, Jenny Douglas of Kent, Wash. (husband Ryan and their daughters Camrynne and Makenzie), Lindsey Enserink (husband Shaun and their daughters Finley and Lennyn), and Lacey Howell (husband Dillon Howell) of Klamath Falls, Ore. As well as several family pets that he considered an important part of his life. He also leaves behind close friends and family he loved deeply.
At the age of 18 he started his career at Weyerhaeuser and worked there for many years before obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree at Oregon Institute of Technology. He used his degree to help others, finding his place as Senior Counselor for Klamath County Community Corrections, where he worked until his retirement. He found fulfillment by helping people in any way that he could. He had a huge heart and always found ways to give to others.
He was born on the opening day of deer season, and this was incredibly fitting. He was an avid hunter and felt most at peace when exploring the great outdoors with his family. He also greatly enjoyed fishing, camping, and being the most amazing grandpa to his granddaughters. He was the most dedicated father and he always said Jesus Christ and his girls were what made him the happiest.
Gordon’s celebration of life service will be held on January 28, 2023, at the Favell Museum, 125 West Main St. Klamath Falls, OR. 97601 at 1:00pm. He would have loved to be remembered by sharing stories of hunting trips you shared with him, silly, and happy memories that celebrate the joy and love he brought to all of our lives.
