Beloved husband, father, son, and public servant, Joshua Horn was born on December 31, 1988, and passed away on April 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and service. He was deeply loved by his mother, Caroline Horn, and his father Guy Schoolfield Jr., who both played an important role in his life. Joshua was the devoted husband of Kat Horn and the proud father of two young sons, Sean and Dawson, who were his greatest joy.
Joshua's dedication extended beyond his family into an extraordinary career in service. As a Coast Guardsman, a police officer, and a Bureau of Land Management Law Enforcement Ranger, he embodied the values of integrity, selflessness, and commitment. His unwavering dedication to protecting his country and his community earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
Joshua was a man of boundless compassion and strength, who brought warmth and laughter to those around him. His kindness and courage touched countless lives, creating a lasting impact that will be remembered for years to come.
While his time with us was far too brief, Joshua's love, spirit, and service remain alive in the hearts of his family, friends, and community. He will be profoundly missed but forever celebrated.
A celebration of Joshua's life will be held on May 3rd 2025 at 1:00 pm at Klamath Union High School, all are invited to gather in his honor.
