Lawrence "Larry" William Ferguson

Larry grew up in West Seattle and after a career working for REI headquarters, switched to earning a degree in education for his second career and worked in public school districts in both Washington and Oregon for nearly two decades. He retired from teaching and lived alone in Klamath Falls, Oregon for the last several years of his life.

For most of his life he was an avid climber, hiker, and backpacker.

He is survived by his sister, Julie, three daughters Erin, Sarah, and Emma, and one grandchild.
