On May 7th 2022, at (93) Norma L Rekar passed away in San Diego California. Norma is survived by her two daughters Rosemary and Diana; her two sisters Doris and Louise; her 14 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband John Rekar, Parents Dagmar and Wallace Baker, and Siblings Donald, Gerald, Janice, Earl, Carl, Erma, and Lois. Norma was born on July 22, 1928 in Ashton, Idaho. She spent most of her childhood in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Norma married John Rekar in 1945 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Then moved to Chicago, Illinois where they welcomed their two daughters Rosemary and Diana. Norma worked at Chicago Tokyo Bank as the first female officer for many years. One of her biggest ambitions was to travel the world. She did just that, visiting all 50 states, Japan, Europe, and many other places. Norma then retired and moved back to Klamath Falls, Oregon where she started her own doll business (Norma’s Dolls). She had been an active member and served in The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints throughout her life. A memorial service for Norma is scheduled for 11am on May 21st at The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Keno. .
