Ryan was an extraordinary man whose heart was pure gold. Throughout his life he endured more physical and emotional pain than most ever will, and because of that, he carried a deep and genuine understanding of the struggles of others. He never hesitated to offer help-no matter the need, no matter the time. His strength was quiet but undeniable; he was as tough as they come.
Ryan didn't ask for much in life. His deepest hope was simple: to find a good woman, to have children, and to build a loving home where he could care for them. He longed for the kind of steady, gentle life he so greatly deserved. Though life dealt him many difficult blows, Ryan's compassion, resilience, and loyalty never wavered.
Ryan loved the Lord, and in his darkest moments he prayed earnestly for help and relief. His faith was real, and he held tightly to it, even when the weight he carried became too much for him to bear.
He had many lifelong friends who will miss him deeply. Above all, he is cherished and remembered by his family: his mother and father Sandy and John Banks; and his siblings Shane Cottrell (Rhonda), Shannon Valenzuela (Vinny), Chris Banks (Chrissy), Doug Banks (Jessie), Tommy Banks and Keri Cannon Smiddy (Anthony), as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Ryan graduated from MMI in Phoenix and was proud to apply his hands on skills in his hobbies and career. He loved dirt bikes, being outdoors, and Nascar. He was most recently working for Diversified Contractors in Klamath Falls, where he was known for his dedication, hard work, and willingness to lend a hand.
Ryan will be remembered not for the hardships he faced, but for the love he gave, the strength he showed, and the compassion that defined his life.
Services will be planned at a later date for friends and family to celebrate Ryan's life of generosity, love, and loyalty.
