Richard Lloyd Brimmer
January 22, 1950 - May 4, 2025
Richard Lloyd Brimmer ("Dickie"), 75, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, passed away on May 4, 2025. Born in Red Bluff, California on January 22, 1950, Richard lived a life marked by hard work, quick-witted humor, and a deep devotion to family and the simple joys of life.
He began his career as a edger in numerous lumber mills around the Klamath basin, embracing the grit and endurance the job demanded. After a career-ending injury in his early 40s, Richard transitioned to a new path as a Physical Therapy Aide, where his compassion and steady presence made a lasting impact on those he served.
But if you asked Richard, his real job was bass fishing. On the water is where he found peace and purpose, rod in hand. He was also a lifelong baseball fan-cheering fiercely for his beloved San Francisco Giants, though he always had room in his heart for the Chicago Cubs.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Judy Brimmer; his children, Matt Brimmer (Toni) and Tia Coronado (Ray); and his granddaughter, Kailee Brimmer. He is also survived by his brothers, Harold and Bob Brimmer, along with their families.
A celebration of Richard's life will be announced at a later date. His memory will be carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
