Sandra Lou Kemper, 73, passed away at her home in Bonanza, Ore. on Sept. 1, 2024.
She was born June 27, 1951 in Klamath Falls, Ore. to Bobbie and Virginia (Gardner) Hunt. She spent her whole life in Klamath County, working in the potato sheds, then at Weyerhaeuser then worked for Jefferson State Rock as Excavator operator. She also laid tile in Klamath Falls for Roger Dodridge. Sandra enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, Native beading, camping, painting, carving and watching and studying wildlife. She also loved spending time in the outdoors wither family and "all the silly things they would say."
Survivors include her son, Dale Bonser and his wife, Deana, of Bonanza, Ore.; sister, Charlene Walton and her husband, Jack, of Estacada, Ore.; brother, Ed Pelletier and his wife, Pam, of Klamath Falls, Ore.; sister, Jeanene Brown and her husband, Claine, of New Pine Creek, Calif.; brother, Donald Meeker of North Carolina; granddaughter, Jessie Haskins and her husband, Brady, of Klamath Falls and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren; niece, Tina Shaw of Klamath Falls. Sandra was preceded in death by her daughter, Gale Bonser; brother, Jim Mathis; and nephew, Eddie Pelletier. At the age of 70, Sandra became foster parent to her great-great nephew, Jonathan Weaver.
A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at the Falcon Heights Event Center, 10301 Preddy Ave., Klamath Falls.
Sandra was loved by all her family whom she cared for while they were growing up. They will remember fondly what she would ask them every day - "Have I told you today that I love you?"
