Sharon Hammer

March 14, 1949 — February 27, 2025

Sharon Ida Hammer, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend was born in Klamath Falls on March 14, 1949. She joined her loved ones in Heaven on February 27, 2025.

She made many friends in her time working for the State of Oregon at the Department of Human Services where she worked for 32 years.

She will be remembered for her avid love of bowling, and the many years spent in the alleys with her friends and family. She enjoyed sharing her many beautiful works of crocheted treasures with her loved ones. She opened her heart and her home to many extended children and grandchildren who fondly called her Mama and Grandma. She was just someone who felt like home, like a guiding North Star in life's passage. An unwavering source of shelter and love. Her family truly was her greatest treasure in life.

Sharon is survived by her brother Norman (Eileen) Singleton and sister-in-law Kathie Singleton; her children: Scott Darcy (Suzy), Marie Hammer, Mike Hammer (Cindy), LG Hammer (Misty) all of Klamath Falls; grandchildren: Kayla (Korey), Lacee, Steven (Kaytlin), Stephanie (Shannon), Tyler, Tasha, Tanner, Kayla (Fabian), Parker, Levi, Aaron and Justine (Zachari) and great- grandchildren: Chrissie, Kayden, Blakely, Lucas, Klaire, Kolton, Noah, Izabella, Hagen, Tucker, Jamie, William and Aarynn and many nieces and nephews; and special family friend Richard Beals.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, John and Violet; brothers, Duane and Wayne; sisters, Carolee and Jessica; daughter, Christine; and grandsons, Brady, Johnathan, Wade and Steven.

A celebration of life and potluck will be held on her birthday, Friday, March 14, 2025, at 5:00 PM, at the Woodworkers Local Lodge W12 Hall, 3836 Altamont Drive Klamath Falls OR 97603
