Stephen "Steve" A. Trulove, 71, passed away in Klamath Falls, Ore. on Sept. 28, 2020. Steve was born Aug. 14, 1949 in Hoopa, Calif. to Rex and Freda (Haley) Trulove. He attended WSU and OSU majoring in GIS math and forest genetics. Steve worked for 37 years as a spatial data analyst with the US Forest Service. He was married to Michelle (Sheriff) Trulove for 26 years before she preceded him in death in 2019. He lived in Chiloquin, Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Steamboat, Ore., New Meadows, Idaho, and Nampa, Idaho before moving to Klamath Falls. Survivors include his children, Christopher Travis (Bridget) Trulove of Phoenix, Ariz., Crystal Michelle Trulove of Rainier, Ore., Tanner Paul Wilson of Florence, Mont.; brother, Rex lee Trulove Jr. (Ella) of Klamath Falls; sisters, Patricia McDermott of Minden, Nev., Judith Allen of Klamath Falls, and 5 grandhildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Steve was preceded in death by his daughter, Tanya Trulove. Cascade Cremation & Burial is assisting the family.
