Teresa "Teri" Jean Vaughn

November 20, 1958 — December 26, 2020

Teresa “Teri” Jean Vaughn, 62, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020 in Klamath Falls, where she lived most of her life. Teri was born November 20, 1958 in Eugene, Oregon to Richard and Marjo Vaughn. She moved to Klamath Falls, as a young child with her family, and later graduated from Klamath Union High School. She was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend. She loved any time that was spent with family and those she held close to her heart. Time with Teri was special and full of smiles, laughter (often to the point of crying), and wonderful memories made. Teri enjoyed camping, fishing, girls’ weekends, cheering on her nieces and nephews in all their activities/sports, bowling, reading and bingo. A moment never passed without Teri letting you know she “loved you more” and how much she cherished being with you in that moment. For more than thirty years, Teri worked as a bookkeeper, first at Dar’s Bookkeeping and the last 23 years at Alliance Business and Tax Service. She loved her job, her coworkers and the clients she served. Teri was preceded in death by her grandparents, Steven and Sophia Vaughn and John and Donia Hotz, as well as beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her parents, Richard and Marjo Vaughn; brothers and sisters, Rick and Lisa Vaughn, Debbie and Lee Blank, and Larry and Kathie Vaughn; nieces and nephews, Carly and Trevor Mauch, Kyle and Chrissy Blank, Heidi Vaughn, Taylor Vaughn, Dayton Vaughn and Bryce Vaughn; several great nieces and nephews; aunt and uncles; cousins; and special friend, Vivian Kimbol. A celebration of life will be held this coming summer. Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
